I have found that it cleans up nicely. It has a very thick laminate over the map with a high gloss finish which will allow you to remove dry erase marker just as if you were. Wet erase markers also commonly referred to as wet wipe markers can be used on any non porous surface which makes them great for a variety of materials. The markers included was also nice. However i ve heard from other people that the mat can get stained if you leave it on that long. Wet erase markers worked great on it. The same thing with the wizdice mat dry erase gives it problems but the wet erase works great.
